The following are the main steps of aluminum profile processing and extrusion technology:
Heating: Heat the aluminum ingot to a certain temperature to give it sufficient plasticity and fluidity. Heating methods can include electric heating, gas heating, oil heating, etc.
Squeezing: Place the heated aluminum ingot into an extruder and gradually deform it into the desired cross-sectional shape and size of the aluminum profile through the squeezing effect of the mold. According to different product requirements, different extrusion processes can be used, such as forward extrusion, reverse extrusion, lubrication extrusion, etc.
Straightening: The extruded aluminum profiles need to be straightened to eliminate irregularities such as bending and twisting, ensuring their straightness and angular accuracy. Straightening can be achieved through mechanical straightening, hydraulic straightening, roller straightening, and other methods.
Cooling: After straightening, aluminum profiles need to be cooled to stabilize their size and performance. The cooling method can be natural cooling, forced cooling, air cooling, etc.
