For large extruders, such as 10,000-ton equipment, the diameter of the aluminum rod may reach 380mm or larger.

Aluminum rod length

Length: The length of the aluminum rod can vary according to production needs and the design of the equipment. In some cases, the standard length may be about 6 to 7 meters, but this value can be adjusted according to the specific process requirements. For example, in the example mentioned above, a 6-inch (about 152mm diameter) 1600-ton short-stroke aluminum extruder used a billet length of 780 mm.
