LED aluminum profiles are mainly used for the production of LED lamps cooling components, housing and installation structure, etc., to ensure that LED lamps can effectively heat dissipation, extend service life, and improve lighting effects. The following is the basic process and some key points of LED aluminum profile manufacturing:
Manufacturing process
Raw material preparation: Select the appropriate aluminum alloy material as the basis for the production of aluminum profiles. Aluminum alloy grades with good thermal conductivity, high mechanical strength and easy processing are usually selected.
Smelting and casting: The selected aluminum alloy raw materials are put into the melting furnace to heat to liquid state, and then the required aluminum alloy ingots or billets are formed through the casting process. This process requires strict control of temperature and component ratio to ensure the quality of subsequent processing.
Extrusion molding: This is the core step in the manufacture of aluminum profiles. The heated aluminum alloy ingot is put into the extruder and extruded by the die under high pressure to form a long strip aluminum profile with a specific cross-section shape. Extrusion speed, temperature and mold design all affect the quality of the final product.
Cooling treatment: The extruded aluminum profile needs to be properly cooled to stabilize its internal organizational structure and reduce stress concentration. This step can be done by natural cooling or for
